Dynasty in the making, Vick makes bold statement
The word is out! The Eagles are a Dynasty in the making according to Michael Vick. On CSN Philly, Vick was comparing this years Eagles talent to some of the great teams of the past, San Francisco in the 1980′s and Dallas of the 1990′s. For some of us, this might sound a bit ridiculous considering that the Eagles have no Super Bowl trophies on their resume.
The NFC this season will be just as competitive as any other season. Do you think that the face of the franchise, should be making such a bold prediction? Or are you like me and just take it as confidence? Vick is no Vince Young (Dream Team) and I think heading into the season he should be confident. If that confidence is articulated by comparisons to some of the great teams of the past, who cares? If it insults their dynasty’s,especially Dallas, I again say who cares!
Michael Vick will get his start building on his remark come opening day of camp. I along with every other Eagles fan look forward to the dynasty that will be on the field this season!
As the leader and face of The Eagles what is Vick supposed to say? Confidence shows that this man is ready to lead.He has confidence in his team mates. Is ” Dynasty” the wrong term maybe,but you can’t deny that Vick has certainly upheld his end of the bargain so far.So I agree with you ” who cares” Let the naysayers and haters keep hating.
