Many of the reviews I’ve read about Jordan Melo 1.5 have been really positive and I felt compelled to do a review on them myself, especially since I’m a big fan of the shoe.
I was looking for a basketball shoe that was both comfortable and made well but didn’t cost too much money or look too much like a sneaker. Well, I found my shoe. It fits like a glove and does exactly what I needed it to do.
The lower part of the shoe has a small round plate at the bottom for holding the laces together. The top is similar to a running shoe and so is the sole. The strap goes around the foot and makes the shoe even more comfortable and it was pretty easy to get it on and off.
I think the shoe actually feels better than my old running shoes. I wore it while playing a game of basketball with my son and his friends and even after a lot of time on it, it wasn’t uncomfortable to wear at all.
When I first got it, I noticed that it wasn’t very breathable but I guess that’s because I use it when the temperature is cooler and it may need more air circulation to keep it fresh.
As for the features of the shoe, there isn’t much to see but the shoes themselves are very light and they move well. The support of the upper portion is great, providing all the necessary support that is needed for a basketball player.
The midsole is what makes the shoe for the most comfortable to wear and the materials used on the soles are great for absorbing the impact during a game. All in all, I was very happy with my purchase of this Jordan Melo.
